FTP server

Our FTP server can be used to upload and download files quickly, easily and efficiently. You will need a personal username and password to access our FTP server. Send an e-mail to prepress@vuye.com to request your personal log in data.

You will receive the following by return:
Host: prepressflex.vuye.com
User name: your unique username
Password: unique password

Log in procedure from standard Windows Explorer:

1. Start Windows Explorer

2. Copy the following URL into the address bar (see red box in screen shot)
   ftp://prepressflex.vuye.com
   
   

3. Enter your username and password

4. Upload or download your file(s) by dragging it (them) into or out of this window

We would recommend muCommander as the FTP programme:

1. It can be downloaded free of charge from www.mucommander.com
2. Download the muCommander application for your operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Linux)
3. Install and start the programme
4. Copy the following URL into the address bar (see red box in screen shot)
   ftp://prepressflex.vuye.com
   
   
5. Log in as a user and enter your username and password
6. Upload or download your file(s) by dragging it (them) between windows

Filezilla is an alternative FTP programme:

1. It can be downloaded free of charge from http://filezilla-project.org
2. Download the Filezilla client application for your operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Linux)
3. Install and start the programme
4. Enter the necessary FTP data (see red boxes in screen shot) in the empty fields of the Filezilla toolbar
   
   
5. Upload or download your file(s) by dragging it (them) between windows
